Fall Pilgrimage 2014
September 26 through October 13, 2014
Nineteen antebellum mansions, are open to visitors during this three-week Fall Pilgrimage every fall. Guides in period costume guide you through the homes. The majority are private homes which are only open to the public during Fall Pilgrimage. Most homes are guided by desendents of the original owners and tell stories of a time gone by. Each house is unique with 18th and 19th century furnishings.
Tickets are available through Natchez Pilgrimage tours. Tickets are sold in groups of 2 or 3 homes and are designated as morning or afternoon tours and color coded by the day of the week. Rotation is every 4th day, so if you stayed several days, you could visit different homes each day.
A Plantation Dinner including a Gospel Music concert and performances of
Truman Capote's The Grass Harp at Natchez Little Theatre are also available for your evening entertainment.
Stanton Hall, Rosalie, and Longwood tours are available with separate ticket purchase.
